A 10-week research for undergraduate (REU) program on advanced high-frequency communications, artificial intelligence, networks, protocols, antennas, and algorithms.

Students will work side-by-side with faculty and graduate research assistants who are experts in these areas.

Program Information

This REU will support 8 students. Each student will receive:

Up to $500 travel allowance

$6,000 stipend

 On-campus housing

Letters of Recommendation from faculty mentors

 

Important Dates

January 2022: Applications Open

April 10 (EXTENDED), 2022: Applications due, to guarantee full consideration

April 10, 2022: Letters of Recommendation due, to guarantee full consideration

April 24, 2022: Notification deadline

June-August 2022: 10-week program

How Do I Participate?

Motivated students with a background in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or physics would be ideal to participate in the projects. The projects are suitable for a wide array of backgrounds, therefore even math and physics students would be successful.

Eligibility Requirements:

Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and not graduate prior to Dec. 2021

Be a US citizen or permanent resident

A GPA of 3.0 or above

A statement of interest, unofficial transcripts and two references.
